Let the Games Continue!

I wanted to share a picture of my Olympic word wall, which I discussed in a post called “Let the Games Begin!”

I brought the students’ work home from our opening ceremonies. Seems, from what I’ve read, that many of my little Olympians are trying to shoehorn words into places that don’t fit. Today I made a very conscious effort to use the words in my dialogue with the class. It’s only the first full day of the Olympics for us, so let’s give it some time!
